Description:
Marine plywood is manufactured from durable face and core veneers, with few defects so it performs longer in humid and wet conditions and resists delaminating and fungal attack. Its construction is such that it can be used in environments where it is exposed to moisture for long periods.
Our Marine plywood is graded as being compliant with BS1088, which is a British Standard for marine plywood.
Suitable for most moisture resistant and exterior applications. *Not recommended for use in boats*
Can I use marine ply externally?
Yes you can, however, it needs t be treated/sealed.
Is hardwood and marine plywood the same?
No, hardwood plywood and marine grade plywood are not the same thing. A plywood has to be BS1088 graded to be considered marine ply.
